ATTENTION! THIS CONCEPT IS ONLY MEANT FOR PARTICIPANTS.
The enklave dedicates its debut night to the
Kunstfigur of music.
We begin our search with David Bowie’s Ziggy
Stardust and Klaus Nomi.

Through their incredible power, individuality,
creativity and courage, both have kept their eyes
open to all facets of art and created art
themselves.

Costumes, make-up and uberexcentricity mixed
with experimental music made dreaming
possible. . .

We are trying to capture the essence of the
Kunstfigur and will celebrate it for one night.
Let your excentricity out.

You are missing an arm? No worries.

Slap a sticker on it and everything will be fine.

How can I become a Kunstfigur?

Is the Kunstfigur based on rebellion?
Break tabus,
but which ones?

Übermenschen against
the lowest common denominator of the new
triviality?

What about Britney and Justin?
Today´s Kunstfiguren?

And when did we lose
the erotic?

We have found a place with
limitless possibilities.
A 450m² basement in a former
power plant, 5 minute walking distance from
Berlin Ostkreuz, invites you to create and play.

Except for a few historical areas of the building
you are welcome to paint or do whatever you can
think of to the walls and floors.

We are giving 20 different artists each a cell (ca. 100x220x100 w*h*d) to create art dealing with the Kunstfigur as its
subject. Electricity can be installed into each
cell upon request. Please note that this will not
be an art exihibtion in the classical sense.

It will be a wild party, so count on your work
being damaged.

The rooms can be used as of April 15.

The following artists have already confirmed
their plans to work on a cell:
Nicole Dargé, Bronson Hankins, Max Frisienger,
Konrad Oktavian Knieling and Anne Seidel.
Florian Sänger will draw his impressions of the
night on paper and then project them onto the
dancefloor.

The wonderful Dean Golden
(Antisocial, Foreign etc.) is coming
from London to impress you at the door.

Using Skype, we will watch SCOTTEE perform live
from London.

Peter Glam and Sarah Poppers will surprise us
with a performance never seen before.
We wish them a pleasant trip from Spain.

The confirmed Djs are Nicole Dargé and Daniel
Cremer.
Flash expert Jona Hausig is designing the
website http://www.enklaveprivat.de which will be
launched on April 20.
Konrad Oktavian Knieling is helping us with the
research.
Ellie Falk hugger muggers our miserable english.
Other Djs and live-acts will be announced soon.
SURPRISE. SURPRISE.
This night is about creating a special event, not
about making money.
We wish to thank all the artists and supporters,
who are making this night possible.

The fact that everyone is working for free allows
us to offer our guests affordable entrance and
drinks. We don´t want to exclude anyone based
on their financial situation. Right now we are
thinking that before 12°° entrance will be free
and thereafter 5€.

That´s why there will not be a guestlist expect for
participants.

We warmly invite our friends to
come before 12°°. Participants will have a fair
amount of free drinks.
Besides working together, growing in exchange
and meeting new people, we want to introduce
each participant on our website.

Therefore we are asking you to send us your
previous work, videos, music, contact
information and an english bio as soon as
possible.

The adress of the night will not be published via
press or posters to maintain a private and
special character.

There will be posters put up all over Berlin and
Hamburg showing the myspace link.

People need to become a friend on myspace to
find out where the party will be. We´re also
asking all participants to spread the word about
the location and invite lots of wonderful people.

We are also asking you to dress up, go out and
hand out flyers at clubs, bars and galleries.

Keep your eyes open.

We will let you know when
the flyers and posters are ready to pick up.
We hopefully have answered your initial
